Ouverture du nouveau centre de formation « LSA Bordj El Kiffan »

Le nouveau centre de formation de LSA, dédié à la formation et examens en langue anglaise dans le domaine aéronautique, est devenu opérationnel le 15 Janvier 2009. Depuis lors, les groupes de pilotes de Tassili Airlines suivent un programme de formation afin de développer leurs compétences communicatives en anglais et en radiotéléphonie.

Le nouveau centre comprend six salles de classe équipées de matériel audio-visuel et un laboratoire FAO pour la formation effectuée sur support informatique. Le centre est situé à proximité de l'aéroport Houari Boumédiène et est ouvert six jours par semaine. Au cours des prochains mois, LSA lancera un programme des soirées pour aider les apprenants à maintenir la pratique de l'anglais en dehors de la classe.

Les premiers pilotes Algériens ont passé l'examen professionnel en anglais

Le 18 Janvier 2009, le premier groupe de pilotes Algériens a passé le RELTA (RMIT English Language Test for Aviation). Tous les huit de Tassili Airlines ont réussi cet examen haut la main, et leurs licences seront mises à jour pour servir de preuve qu’ils sont dorénavant en conformité avec les exigences internationales en terme de maîtrise en langue anglaise énoncées en 2008 par l’OACI (Organisation de l’Aviation Civile Internationale) et la DACM (Direction de l’Aviation Civile et Météorologie) d’Algérie.

LSA's new Aviation English Training Centre opens in Bordj El Kiffan

LSA's new training centre, dedicated to Aviation English training and testing, became operational on 15 January 2009. Since then, groups of pilots working for Tassili Airlines have been receiving training to develop their communication skills in both radiotelephony and plain English.

The new training centre contains six classrooms with audio-visual equipment and a computer-aided learning laboratory for self-access courses. The centre is conveniently located close to Houari Boumédiène International Airport in Algiers and is open six days per week. Over the coming months LSA will launch a program of evening events that will provide a valuable opportunity for learners to continue practicing English outside the classroom.

First Algerian pilots take professional English test

On 18 January 2009, the first group of Algerian pilots took RELTA (RMIT English Language Test for Aviation). All eight pilots from Tassili Airlines were successful, and their licenses will now be updated to show they are compliant with the international English language requirements set out by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Authority) and the Algerian DACM (Direction de l’Aviation Civile et Météorologie) in 2008.
