Beyond Level 4 is a portable self-study aviation English language course for pilots.

Pilots can study at any time without the need to attend classes. Study does not interfere with flight schedules. Training managers can monitor and evaluate their pilots' readiness to meet the ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements, allowing airlines to gain control over each individual pilot's language learning.

Beyond Level 4 generates practical reports to allow pilots to recognises their strong and weak areas and focus on developing key skills.

Beyond Level 4 can extend a pilot’s English language skills beyond the ICAO minimum proficiency requirement of Level 4, with the potential to free them from future language testing. Beyond Level 4 contains over 200 learning activities. It is flexible, interactive and engaging.

Activities are based on real-life incidents, plus challenging hypothetical scenarios.
The course develops high-level listening and speaking skills in plain English in radiotelephony communication.
It utilises self-directed learning, including built-in checks to help pilots and their managers assess and control their own learning.
Tutor-guided sessions are included, enhancing pilots’ language learning.

Beyond Level 4 is based on ICAO’s six criteria : comprehension, pronunciation, fluency, structure, vocabulary and interactions.
