RMIT Expert Speaker Evaluation Tool

 RESET

RESET is the RMIT Expert Speaker Evaluation Tool. It allows organisations to confirm that their native speaking personnel are at ICAO Level 6 for licensing purposes. The RESET is a non-intrusive assessment conducted while personnel perform their normal duties or complete recurrent training. RESET does not require personnel to participate in a formal examination.

RESET can be administered by trained RESET assessors within the organisation.
RESET Assessors do not need to have a linguistic background to administer RESET.
RESET is administered during recurrent training (eg simulator training) or crew briefings. Additional language tasks are provided in the event RESET Assessors opt to assess pilots in interview situations.
